Abstract
This paper serves as a documentation of the platform that was established in 2021 for the 12 secondary mathematics teachers to present their classroom action research (CAR) findings to other mathematics teachers. CAR was a part of the 2021 Mathematics School Based Committee Professional Development Hub action plan to produce quality content for the professional learning community catered for secondary mathematics teachers through CAR. There were 11 teaching strategies and nine mathematics topics covered. 9 of the CAR findings are based on pre-and post-test data, two on both pre- and post-test and survey data and one on survey data only. All the CAR outcomes indicated that there were positive improvements in students’ achievements and developments at the end of each action research done. 55% of the 72 teachers who attended the presentations stated they would be interested in conducting their own action research. More than 50% of teachers who completed the CAR agreed on the usefulness of this platform designed to allow teachers to share their CAR findings with others. Thus, it is important to sustain this platform in giving opportunities for math teachers to continue learning and growing in the education profession through classroom action research practice.
